How Does Your Garden Grow? With dandelion weeds and clover mounds That's how my garden grows. I spent the beautiful day in the garden. So many weeds. I managed to clean a very small bed out and plant some geraniums. Next I tackled the bed with the least weeds and was able to plant some more geraniums, plant marigold seed, milkweed seed, and alyssum seed. I relocated the day lilies to a place where maybe the yard men won't whack them down each week! (Although since they were within the border of a flower bed, I'm not sure why they thought it was ok to weed eat!). My Aggie Bonnets are in full bloom. For those of you unfamiliar with Texas A&M, our university is know for making all things maroon. Carrots, onions, and bluebonnets. I still have 2 small beds, 1 large bed, and 1 enormous bed still to rid of weeds, but having my hands in the dirt is therapeutic. Today is a new day to get dirt under my fingernails. Maybe even plant some vegetables.

I'm so jealous! I would love my small beds (too many of them) to be cleaned out and ready for flowers. I'm sure yours are gorgeous. We are expecting rain for the next week solid so the only thing growing in my flower beds for awhile will be weeds.

I always love the look of gardens and gardening, but I have yet to discover the joy of doing the actual work. It was a big move for me to buy some plants from the previous tenant in this apartment and it is just good luck that they are still alive! Your plans sound ambitious!
