God's HandToday my sweet husband called about trying to help run some errands for me. It was hard for me to tell him how to help me. I needed to pick up a donated treadle sewing machine that I was going to ship to Africa. I found it at this small antique shop in town and when I told her that we were trying to help Liberians start businesses with manual sewing machines, she offered to give it to me. But I couldn't remember the name of the store or exactly where it was. So how was my husband going to help. I didn't even know if the shop was open and I didn't have her phone number with me to be able to call. Plus I could always run this errand tomorrow. This led to us getting into an argument because I was apparently being rude to him, when really I just didn't want to put him out.
So I was able to google the address and he begrudgingly headed over to pick up the sewing machine. Turns out the shop was closed and he turned around to leave. As he waited for traffic to pass he noticed a Casita trailer across the road at Dollar General. As he starts to pull out, he realized it was OUR casita trailer. The badly worn paint, the duck tape on the heating vent, the tool box on the front, the high axle! As he is waiting for the police to arrive, he realizes what a God thing it is that we had a spat and he went to get the sewing machine. He realized that if the antique store had been open, he would have been inside and our camper would have finished its purchase at Dollar General and been on the road. The thieves told the police they were headed to Wyoming. If the timing had been any different we never would have recovered the trailer. How lucky are we that he was pulling out of the parking lot at the exact same time the thieves stopped for groceries. The camper has some damage, but is minimal. Lots of clean up to still do, but grateful for God taking care of the details.

Wow, that was a surprise ending. I am glad your husband was in the right place at the right time. How scary that you could have lost it.

I'm sure your husband had to take a second, third and even fourth look to have it sink in that he was actually looking at his OWN trailer. What an amazing story. No such thing as coincidence!
